How do I check if my state is covered?

Scroll through the state grid on this page. If your state is listed, we can originate loans there today. If it is not listed, enter your email in the waitlist form and we will notify you as soon as we are licensed in your area. We are actively expanding coverage.

What does NMLS mean?

NMLS stands for Nationwide Multistate Licensing System. It is the centralized registry where all mortgage loan originators and companies must be registered. You can verify any loan officer's license status, history, and disclosures at nmlsconsumeraccess.org. Chad Villacorta's individual NMLS ID is 2636410 and West Capital Lending's company ID is 1566096.

Can you originate loans in states not listed?

Not at this time. Mortgage lending is regulated at the state level, and we can only originate loans in states where West Capital Lending holds an active license. We are adding new states regularly, so if your state is not listed, join the waitlist and we will reach out as soon as it is available.

Is West Capital Lending a bank?

No. West Capital Lending is a direct lender and mortgage broker, not a bank. That means we can originate and fund loans directly, but we also have access to dozens of wholesale lenders. This gives borrowers more options and often better pricing than a single bank can offer.
